1 Chamomile Tea Bag
Mug of Hot Water
Ultra Soft Wash Cloth
Soak the chamomile tea in the mug of hot water, inhaling the steam as you wait for the water to cool.
Once the water is lukewarm, soak your ultra soft wash cloth in the water. Wring it out slightly and press over your irritated skin for five seconds.
Rinse your wash cloth and repeat two more times. Finish by gently patting the area with a clean, dry towel.
1 Lemon
4 Tablespoons plain organic yogurt
1 Teaspoon Raw Sugar (optional)
Grate the rind of the lemon using a fine grater or kitchen rasp. Blend into 4 tablespoons plain yogurt. Add a teaspoon of sugar if a more gritty texture is desired. Mix and rub gently over your face and body. Especially concentrate on the driest and roughest areas of your skin like your hands, feet, elbows, and knees. These areas need extra attention because they easily build up with dry, dehydrated skin cells. Rinse with warm water and gently pat your skin dry. Store extra scrub in an airtight container in your refrigerator for up to 5 days
2 cups finely ground sea salt
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup cornstarch
2 T light oil
1 tsp vitamin E oil
2 eggs
5-6 drops essential oil Preheat your oven to 350 F. Mix together all the ingredients.
Take a teaspoon of the dough and roll it gently into a ball (about an inch in diameter).
Continue doing this with all the dough and place the balls on an ungreased cookie sheet.
(You can decorate the cookies with clove buds, anise seeds, or dried citrus peel if you wish.)
Bake the cookies for 10 minutes, until they are lightly browned. Do not overbake. Allow the cookies to cool completely. To use: drop 1 or 2 cookies into a warm bath and allow to dissolve.
Yield: 24 cookies, enough for 12 baths.
